On November 16th, 2017, St Paul’s Hospital welcomed its donors to the 20th anniversary party for the lights of hope.
The party was held at the Sheraton Wall Centre in one of their ballrooms and donors were served food & appetizers and there was a brief presentation on who the donation impacts. The donations have a positive impact on many people in the hospital and our donation helped to contribute to improving health for many. The lights of hope is a light display of over 10 km of lights, and 100,000 bulbs and hundreds of sponsors. The annual Lights of Hope display takes 6 weeks to build and over 150 volunteers. After the ballroom event, the Charity of Foundation of Canada representatives went and watched the lights light up for the first time, which was followed by a spectacular firework display. This year, with the help of Sun Commercial Real estate, Charity Foundation of Canada donated $10,000.00 to the cause.
